With 25 years in the industry as a designer and art director, I’ve built a career working across brands, campaigns, platforms, and just about every kind of creative challenge in between. From developing identities and visual systems to advertising, web, social, motion, print, events, and environmental experiences, I bring a big picture mindset to every project without losing sight of the details that make the work great.
My approach combines strong design fundamentals, strategic thinking, and a genuine curiosity for new tools and technology. I’m just as comfortable developing the big idea and setting the creative direction as I am getting into the weeds to make sure everything comes together properly. And yes, I actually enjoy both.
I also believe the best creative work comes from good collaboration. I like keeping the process open, straightforward, and enjoyable, with plenty of conversation, a healthy exchange of ideas, and a few laughs along the way. Great work matters, but getting there doesn’t need to be painful.
Working across disciplines has taught me to think beyond individual deliverables. The goal is to create work that feels connected, considered, and right for the audience, whether it lives on a screen, in a space, in someone’s hands, or across an entire campaign.
Tools and platforms will always evolve; that’s what keeps the work interesting. What doesn’t change is what makes the work memorable: a strong idea, smart thinking, thoughtful execution, and knowing when to push it further.
